Three Things Plus 10

1) One of my all time favorite blogs, Moments of Perfect Clarity, is featuring an interview series asking bloggers 10 questions about themselves-- Today it's my turn! Please pop over and check it out. While you're there, spend some time looking around Julochka's blog. It's absolutely gorgeous. And please tell her Joanna sent you.

2) Don't forget to enter my Giveaway by leaving a comment below on this post. And Click HERE for details and more chances to win an $80 CSN Gift Certificate. Giveaway ends August 4th at midnight, Pacific Time.

3) This is one of the sweetest and most beautiful renditions of Amazing Grace I've heard in a long time. It's by a 7 year old girl from Texas.

Happy weekend everyone.

  14. I'll be lurking at you over yonder. I am struck at the fact that this little voice of God has no front teeth, and yet, in that perfection she becomes more perfect, more dear, more real.

I often wonder what it is about the Tune, Amazing Grace that charms and calms us all. I've never heard anyone say they didn't like it; I have heard those say they wish they didn't hear it because it made them sad remembering some loss. But, no one has ever said they don't like it.

While I watch that small child of God with her missing teeth and pure sound, I believe I know now. That song, that simple song, lets us all hear that when we turn our voices to the Light, we all can sound like angels no matter our earthly imperfections.

    I love you.

  31. You turned us on to two great things in the post; Moments of Perfect Clarity and Rhema Marvanne. I read your interview and like your answers. We have such similar tastes. And I have been spending time going through the videos of Rhema. Hubby started listening with me and we are in awe of the life this little girl has already lived and how she must be loved here and in heaven. Of course she has a future in music awaiting her probably like Whitney Houston, but maybe she will be willing to be led to wiser choices. Thank you for the wonderful recommendation. Hugs to you, Joanna.

And wow, here's a fun coincidence about the adorable little girl singing "Amazing Grace" in the video clip: I was working as an extra in a film last week, "Machine Gun Preacher", and this talented young lady was brought in to sing in it. Amazing, yes!
