ReplyDeleteoh that little girl is amazing...
ReplyDeleteoff to check you out...
I'll be lurking at you over yonder. I am struck at the fact that this little voice of God has no front teeth, and yet, in that perfection she becomes more perfect, more dear, more real.
ReplyDeleteI often wonder what it is about the Tune, Amazing Grace that charms and calms us all. I've never heard anyone say they didn't like it; I have heard those say they wish they didn't hear it because it made them sad remembering some loss. But, no one has ever said they don't like it.
While I watch that small child of God with her missing teeth and pure sound, I believe I know now. That song, that simple song, lets us all hear that when we turn our voices to the Light, we all can sound like angels no matter our earthly imperfections.
I love you.

What a wonderful voice that girl has!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
You turned us on to two great things in the post; Moments of Perfect Clarity and Rhema Marvanne. I read your interview and like your answers. We have such similar tastes. And I have been spending time going through the videos of Rhema. Hubby started listening with me and we are in awe of the life this little girl has already lived and how she must be loved here and in heaven. Of course she has a future in music awaiting her probably like Whitney Houston, but maybe she will be willing to be led to wiser choices. Thank you for the wonderful recommendation. Hugs to you, Joanna.
ReplyDeleteThat little girl is so cute. She's amazing. Will be checking out your interview now.
ReplyDeleteSmiles...
Loved the interview too -- so good to catch up with you and learn new things about you! And wow, here's a fun coincidence about the adorable little girl singing "Amazing Grace" in the video clip: I was working as an extra in a film last week, "Machine Gun Preacher", and this talented young lady was brought in to sing in it. Amazing, yes!
ReplyDeleteThat little girl is incredible! Such a perfect voice.
ReplyDeleteI'll be checking out the interview. Amazing Grace is one of my favorite songs and her rendition is precious.
ReplyDeleteI loved reading your answers!! It is so nice to learn more about you!!
ReplyDeleteWish I could sing!
What a lovely rendition of Amazing Grace. Thanks, Joanna, for sharing that, along with your interview with Julochka!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit, love your blog! I can't believe that little girls voice, it's gorgeous! It is on of my grandfathers favorite songs, when we visit his grave we always sing it for him. This put a big smile on my face
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Enjoyed the interview. Glad to see you wouldn't "necessarily" rescue your laptop before your husband.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great interview..wonderful questions..so much fun to get to know a different side of you :) I am with you ...anything with gravy..especially potatoes!!

What a beautiful singer. I needed to hear that. I'm grieving right now. We lost Libby this morning. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done.

One of my most favorite songs ever... and as you said... a beautiful renditon. What a gorgeous wee girl.
ReplyDeleteYes, what Chris said!!!
ReplyDeleteand thanks for sharing the song with us. :)
How fun to read your answers. Having summered all my life in a 200 year-old farm house on 210 acres only to have sold it shortly after I was married, I understand your longing. It's a dream I have to return to that way of living too if only for my summers. :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteI heard that little girl's video last week on a blog and I just saw there through the entire thing in awe. She's just spectacular.
ReplyDeleteAwesome version of Amazing Grace. What a powerful voice for a seven year old. Thanks for sharing. I love that song and plan to have it sung at my memorial. (Many years from now.)
ReplyDeleteYeah, Julie's pretty cool. And now, after my "interview" I need to a pry bar to remove my tongue from my cheek.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the drop-by.
