For months now Unknown Mami has brought us Sundays In My City, starting today she would like to travel to Sundays In Your City, but she can't do it without us-- So I'm joining in!
I'm on vacation in my homeotwn in Northeast Ohio. This is a photo of the Grand River. We took godson and my nieces and nephews "river walking" to hunt for frogs! They had a blast. I avoided the frogs (ick!) and enjoyed the scenery.
Would you like to participate?
The idea is that you enjoy your city (or suburb) with your friends and family, take pictures, and then share them with your bloggy friends and family.
If your "Sunday" happens on a Friday, that's fine, just post the pictures on Sunday. If you live in a suburb instead of a city, she doesn't care-- Unknown Mami still wants to see your pictures! If it's raining and your stuck inside, take a picture of the view outside your home. You can even cheat and take pictures one Sunday and post them the next Sunday. It's just about showing off the "view of your city" on a SUNDAY.
So start taking pictures. Get out there and enjoy your city, then come back link up at Unknown Mami on SUNDAY and let others enjoy vicariously through your pictures.
If you'd like to participate, grab the Sundays in My City button HERE for your post and link up to her blog.
How's your Sunday?

ReplyDeleteToday is Sunday 5.35pm. It had been a laze in bed day. I'm going out next Sunday and look forward to show-off Kuala Lumpur on a Sunday morning :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Joanna.
How nice to see a photo from your home town. I think there must be a lot of Grand Rivers in the country. I've seen several posted and the river that is about 3 miles from us is also the Grand River!
ReplyDeleteThis is yet another part of the glory of blogland - the cultural exchange. I love reading about and seeing photos of other people's hometowns. Hey Joanna, is there anything more I can do for extra credit??? ;)

ReplyDeleteHey Joanna, did I ever tell you that I used to visit my Aunt Betty on her farm in Ohio when I was a kid? I used to love that, and since you reminded me, maybe I'll write a little post about it sometime. Hugs. xo d
ReplyDeleteOh, your town is so pretty! And my favorite thing about your picture is the sky! Haven't you just been amazed at the bright, blue skies we have had this summer. So pretty : ) I love them and I could look at them all day : )
ReplyDeleteOrdinarily, I wouldn't do this - leave second comments in a single blog post- but, it is my sworn duty, during this contest cycle to leave a comment each and every day. How am I doing so far?? ;)
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty picture, sounds likes your river walk was alot of fun. I like to see what people enjoy about where they live. I hope to remember to join in this next Sunday.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of your "home vacation"! Mary
The picture reminds me of scenes from Bridges of Madison County...same general direction, right? Stopping by from Sundays in Your City. xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I'm having some technical issues right now and uploading pics is a pain, but I may still participate because it sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a great time in Ohio!
Ah, there is no place more beautiful than northeastern Ohio on a quiet summer's day...I can almost hear the quiet trill of crickets when I look at your picture.
ReplyDeleteThis Sunday in My Town sounds like a really fun idea. I might try it out...
What a neat idea! I play "tourist" in my city all the time. I love New Orleans and constantly snap shots when I can.
