Manliness

You know I love this guy-- The Old Spice Guy-- I've shared his manliness with you before. He's pretty darn cute.

Today I spotted his latest commercial and thought I'd brighten your day with a hunk of burning love. I especially like the very last part of this short video.

    Did you ever see the little boy who made a "commercial" for his Mom? He did a "take off" on this guy (the best he could without a real horse) and he did one in a shower scene too. It was sooo funny. I think I saw him on the Ellen Show.

    good to see there is some eye candy for both genders. I guess it doesn't even matter if you like the scent of Old Spice. While not as funny as the old spice ad, eye candy girl, Carmen Electra has done a sexy Lectric Shave. I wonder if this guy and Carmen did one together they would cancel each other out.

    This is one of the cleverest and, I bet, most effective campaigns to come along in a long time. I wonder if they have Old Spice scented candles to light while I day-dream.

    OMG Joanna, I LOOOOOVE this guy!! His commercials are the best. He does the same thing for women that Betty Grable did for GIs during the war. Why haven't they come out with a poster of him yet?

    I saw an interview with this guy and he was so sweet. They tried to get him to say some of the lines and he couldn't do it without laughing. They said sales really spiked after they started airing these commercials.

    Now *this* is an example of a good idea, executed with good direction and on a hefty budget. Best of all though was the choice of actor - is there anyone who doesn't like this chap, both women and, I suspect, quite a few blokes! Old Spice seemed like such an old-fashioned aftershave, until Mr Gorgeous came along!

    They are clever commercials, aren't they? Since I've been going to the gym recently all I can think about when I see him is that must work very hard to keep his muscles toned. I better check my hormone levels. :)
