But before you go, this video was on the local news last night and made me so darn happy that I wanted to share it with you. The laughter of this baby is contagious and reminded me that the little things in life can fill you with joy-- Or at least a fun case of the giggles.
Hope you have a good belly laugh today!

I really enjoy Brian's poetry and writings, too....I would have loved to win the giveaway but it couldn't go to a nicer man.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful video. You know, I rip up all sorts of bills but it doesn't fill me with that sort of glee. I guess I'd have to pay them in full ( which isn't going to happen since the job loss ) to elicit a real belly laugh! ).
Oh yay! I love it when the winner is someone I know and like. I'm so happy for Brian.
ReplyDeleteThis child is adorable. That laughter is so infectious.. I get a kick out of hearing the Dad's laugh too as he enjoys his daughter's glee. So sweet. Thanks for sharing.
Woohoo!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Brian...it couldn't of happened to a nicer fella!

ReplyDeleteReminds me of when Joey was about 10 months old (maybe younger) and he laughed a big ole belly laugh when I put one of his shoes on my head. It was grand!

ReplyDeleteI saw the video and it was impossible not to laugh with that baby. They said the paper was a rejection letter from a job application the dad had sent....makes it even better.
ReplyDeleteYay Brian! You're right, JJ. He is one fantastic writer. He's going to soar so many places with his talent.
ReplyDeleteThis is just wonderful darlin!!! thank you...
ReplyDeleteWhey-hey, couldn't go to a nicer person! That baby's laughter should be bottled and given as a prescription - what a delight!

ReplyDeleteGosh, reminds me
ReplyDeleteso much of my daughter
when she went ripped
paper at this age! I
loved it and it was just
what I needed tonight,
as my baby girl turned
16 today!!
xx Suzanne
I laughed along with her until I cried!
ReplyDeleteStew came into the room to watch too... he thought she was adorable too.
Me too! A super big
ReplyDeleteBrian miller groupie! : )
Happy weekend to one of my favorite girls JJ.
A childs belly laugh is contagious yu have to laugh even if you are not in the mood. Children are also a window onto what is required out of life to make you happy, 'paper ripping' how simple is that!!
ReplyDeleteHi Joanna! Long overdue greetings from Casa Hice! Thanks so much for visiting me at Boozy Tooth and leaving such a funny comment. Made my day!
ReplyDeleteI have been so absent from the blog scene that it's a rush seeing you and reading about Brian Miller (who I also owe a long overdue visit!).
Saw the baby video today on another site and was so amazed by how pure joy is, you know? So pure a little baby has mastered it. How I wish we could all feel such unmitigated joy every single day!
PS: My son Jordan just moved into a new apartment in Hollywood. I don't have his address yet, but I hear it's a nice place and know he's very very happy there. Last Sunday, he texted me a photo from a very barricaded Hollywood Boulevard of the Kodak Theater while the Academy Awards red carpet activities were in progress! He said the noise was deafening from the media stand and all the screaming fans. How marvelous to be there, soaking up all that show business. Look him up if you're ever having dinner at Ruth's Chris in Beverly Hills!
Thanks for supporting Simone and thanks for sharing the video! I am always looking for a good laugh.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter told me about this video but it's the first time I've seen it - brilliant!
ReplyDeleteSweet video. There's something primal about rippage, which (I guess) explains the enduring popularity of farts!
ReplyDeleteYeah for Brian! Is he not just simply amazing?
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the day I ripped up my marriage license.
