Super Hero and a Winner!

As I've whined way too often in this space, our 'hood is under siege by several groups of no-good, dirty-rotten @#$%^! who are on a burglary spree that just won't quit.  However, after several new robberies over the past month, I think the bad guys are in for a big surprise if they try to rob again.

The neighbor kid is on the lookout...

How could I not feel better with a Super Hero on our street!?!

  16. Me thinks the police need to be patroling your neighborhood a whole lot more than what they are. Hoping that the super hero keeps them away.

  17. Break-ins are scary. We had a few in our neighborhood and ended up having an alarm system installed.
I love your superhero! A superhero is much cheaper than an alarm system. LOL

  18. We had a great 4th. The best ever in fact. Love the show on the Mall and the fireworks over DC. Dianne

  19. There is something so ugly and outrageous about going into someone's home and taking things that have special meaning only to them. The jewelry you inherited can't possibly bring as much happiness to the thief as it brings sadness to the victim!

  20. It can't be nice living in an area where there are frequent burglaries. I hope you are spared and they catch those responsible soon.
Your little neighbour is so cute.

  23. Oh so cute and sweet. Last night, Joanna, I saw someone get out of a car in front of our house and she had the nerve to dump her empty bag and wine bottles in the bushes and walk up the street. It was 2 AM. This woke me up. Her car was still there this morning so I gathered up her bottles and the bag and tied the the whole package to her car door and left a note on her windshield to kindly pick up after herself as no one wished to pick up after her and to be more thoughtful of others. I would have loved to have seen her face. The car was gone by the time I came home later in the day but hopefully she'll think about how her actions effect others.

We have car break-ins during the summer so I feel what your neighborhood is going through.

Thank you for the nice comment about the fair. :)
