Sad statistics. Even so, I'm glad I'm a woman. Money and power are not all they're cracked up to be...or so I've heard. :) The violence against women, though, is another matter which needs to stop. Now. Thank you for sharing this important message.
thank you so much for sharing this! It is very powerful on many levels. And no, Money and power are not all they're cracked up to be, but they are an indicator of the VALUE society places upon the genders. I love being a woman, but I'd sure like to be treated equally.
Oh oh oh my..wow that is powerful! Cheers to him for doing it!! As a woman who walked away from domestic violence...bravo..BRAVO!! Thank you for sharing this hon..I had not seen it!! Hugs and love, Sarah
Oh tell me about it! And we in countries like the UK and US have an easy time of it compared to others elsewhere. As the mother of two girls, the injustices, cruelty and violence meted out to women across our planet is one of the things that will *always* get me on my soapbox, shouting for change. Yet I've heard women say that they 'can't think about this stuff' because it's 'too depressing'. You can probably guess how I feel about that.
Oh Joanna, I think I made a mistake! I left a message on your blog thinking I was on another blog. So embarrassing! That's what happens late at night. So sorry.

ReplyDeleteI had no idea the gap was still this wide!
ReplyDeleteAnd Daniel makes a much better looking man. Just sayin . . . .
I think it is very attractive that he is manly enough to star in a video so thought provoking as this.
ReplyDeleteExcellent job, Daniel son.
I love that Daniel Craig would do this, and am going to borrow it for my own blog.

I just saw this on NPR and it makes me weep that we've stagnated at the same point as we were 20 years ago when I graduated from college.

ReplyDeleteGod bless ya and have yourself a remarkable day sweetie!!!

ReplyDeleteGot a little somethin'somethin' on my side bar for you this morning (Thursday! ;)
ReplyDeleteThis has been making the rounds, and was very well done. That is stats in the UK, does anyone know the stats (the true stats) in the US?
ReplyDeleteAn perfect example of "The more things change, the more they stay the same."
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong that I still fancy him as a woman? haha.
ReplyDeleteGreat campaign and superbly narrated by Dame Judi Dench - a perfect combination.
Difficult to hear all that at once. As a dude, I'm first defensive of the stats, then as they go on I'm overwhelmed.
